Mica Powder - Amethyst

Lustrous, super-saturated purple mica with a low sheen. This medium-deep purple mica has a wonderfully mature, sophisticated, appearance.

Approved for eyes, face & nails, but not lips. It can be used in mineral makeup, soaps, lotions, creams etc.

Ingredients:

Mica 31-55% - CI 77019
Titanium Dioxide - CI 77891
Tin Oxide 0-1% - CI 778161
Ferric Ferrocyanide 3-8% - CI 77510
Carmine 0.5-3% - CI 77470

Avoid breathing dust and wash hands thoroughly after handling.

Product Suitability:
Melt and Pour Soap: Yes, but may fade over time if exposed to light. See top image for shade of colour achieved in transparent base and white base below.
CP soap: No, will fade in high pH of soap and turns grey ( see bottom image)
Lip Products: No
Mineral Make-up: Yes

Performance results:
CP Soap: Not stable in products with a high pH so it will morph in cp soap and will turn grey (see bottom image).
MP soap: See top image for example of shades achieved
Colour Fading: This colour is light sensitive so you should keep this product away from direct sunlight and consider using a uv inhibitor in products containing this colour.
Colour Migration: This product will not bleed in CP soap or MP soap but testing is being completed to double check that this is indeed the case.
